The Register (UK) has a few articles on it (complete with photographs of the area) here and here.

I found the picture both on Google Earth and Google Maps and have verified the shadow is cast in the same direction as the shadows of nearby trees. There is only one possible explanation: Google inadvertantly captured photographic evidence of Australia's Flying Car.
