Boeing Machinists reject contract, walk out on strike
Let's see. They make more money than me, get a better pension than me, get better incentives then me, and get better health care options than me, yet they're the ones striking.
How is that fair?

...they end up laying off a bunch of people, possibly shutting down a plant, all orders are late, some customers just go to the competition, all business units suffer, all non-union people won't get a "christmas bonus" this year (paid in Februrary-- but not next year, after this)

Unions suck.
Jobs will be outsourced on account of thier actions until they no-longer exist. The only thing less productive then a union is a gay relationship. The anatomy is just wrong.
